IP2 AT LES KONGRESS IN FRANKFURT IN 2016
At this year’s License Executive Society (LES) Congress on April 15, 2016, it was all about employee invention law. “In al these years, we have never had such a big rush“ Co-Chairman Prof. Michael Trimborn said in a surprised and delighted manner as no less than 150 experts from industry and advocacy found their way to the Kempinski Hotel Frankfurt Grafenberg in order to inform themselves about the latest developments in the field of employee invention law.
Michael Trimborn talked about employee inventions in concerns. Practice regarding remuneration, purchase of rights and handling of property right complexes was reported by Andreas Weßling (VW), Andrea Preußer (Continental) and Dirk-Heinrich Rabe (WABCO). The chairman of the Arbitration Board Dirk Rabe summed up his latest senate’s decisions. Bernd Fabry (IP2) gave the concluding lecture on employee inventor’s rights abroad especially in regard of our neighboring countries and the Far East. As Chairman Prof. Christian Osterrieth has put it in a nutshell, there it is the employee invention right now what has once been the patent right.
